Owensville-Montgomery Township Fire District

The Town of Owensville is located 27 miles NNE of Evansville along IN-65 in west-central Gibson County. Organized in 1980, Owensville-Mongomery was Indiana's first Fire District. This all-volunteer department includes two fire stations. OMFD protects 5,000 residents over 97 square miles.

Built in 1976, this firehouse is home to Engines 2 & 3, Brush 4, Rescue 11 and Gibson County EMS Medic 5.
