Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department

Posey Township is located along the Ohio River in eastern Switzerland County. Organized in 1972, this all-volunteer department includes 20 members who respond to 130 runs each year. PTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and First Responder protection to 1,700 residents and all 40 square miles of Posey Township except the Town of Patriot.
