Engine 902 - 1972 Mack CF (608FAP #1156)/1993 PA Fire Apparatus - 1000gpm/2300gal/30gal foam
E-902 is first out on vehicle accidents and carries extrication equipment. This rig has quite the story behind (as do many rigs from Pennsylvania). The 1972 chassis started life as a single rear axle, 75ft Aerialscope, with a gas engine and manual transmission, at Mechanicsburg PA. In 1989, the boom, turntable and jacks were stipped off and remounted, leaving just the cab and chassis. Then in 1991, Mont Alto PA bought the cab/chassis, had it repowered with a diesel engine and automatic transmission, plus they added the second rear axle. It then went to PA Fire Apparatus (Gettysburg, PA), who added the 4dr cab enclosure, pump (since it never had one), tank and body, finishing the job in 1993. Washington Twp purchased it in 2010.

Rescue 908 - 2013 Ford F-350/1970's H&H body
This is the third chassis this body has been on over the years. R908 began it's life as Whitley County R92, which was the county wide extrication unit back in the 70's, 80's and into the 90's. It was initially housed and maintained by the Columbia City FD (who would respond with 1 driver on rescue calls). However, members were volunteers from all over the county and would respond to the scene to work with the rig. Washington Twp acquired it in the mid 1990's when the county rescue was finally disbanded. R-908 now carries a 4-bottle cascade system and a variety of extra rescue equipment.
