Rescue Pumper 288 - 2003 HME 1871/V-Tec rear-mount pumper - 1500gpm/500gal |
||
RP-288 is one of the most unique pumpers in the state. It was originally designed with the idea of it being a 4x4 vehicle with off-road capability. While changes were eventually made, it did keep it's small wheel base and rear-mounted pump. The pump panel is accessed through a rear roll-up door that includes a large motorized hose reel for the 1 1/2" attack line. |
