Fort Wayne is Indiana's second largest city and is located 130 miles northeast of Indianapolis along I-69 in Allen County. Fort Wayne Fire provides Fire, Tactical Rescue, Hazardous Materials and BLS response from 18 firehouses throughout the city. The department's 350+ career firefighters protect 251,000 residents and 107 square miles. ALS Ambulance and Paramedic Services are provided by TRAA, a local, private company.

Station 10 is located just northeast of downtown. It is first due at several schools, Parkview Hospital and the Coliseum.
It is currently home to Battalion 10, Engine 10 and the Special Operations Response Team.

The S.O.R.T. Truck responds to High/Low Angle, Trench, Confined Space and minor Collapse Rescue situations
throughout Fort Wayne and Allen County. It is manned by a Captain and cross-trained personnel from Engine 10.

After serving central Fort Wayne for 5 years, Ladder 10 was reassigned to Station 14 in January 2006.

The telesquirt was refurbished and carried over from four of Fort Wayne's previous Sutphen pumpers when these units were new.
It now serves as a reserve engine.

Station 11 is one of the busiest stations in Fort Wayne because, Engine 11 responds to both the southeast and the
southwest part of town. Battalion Chief 11 also resides at Station 11.
