Fort Wayne is Indiana's second largest city and is located 130 miles northeast of Indianapolis along I-69 in Allen County. Fort Wayne Fire provides Fire, Tactical Rescue, Hazardous Materials and BLS response from 18 firehouses throughout the city. The department's 350+ career firefighters protect 251,000 residents and 107 square miles.

Fort Wayne fire protection to the newly annexed portions of Aboite Township on the city's southwest side.
