Huntertown Fire Department

Huntertown is located just 12 miles northwest of Fort Wayne along IN-3 in Allen County. First established in 1940 this combination department provides Fire, Tactical Rescue and BLS protection to approximately 22,000 residents across nearly 46 square miles mostly in Perry Township.

equipment list includes a Wilbert light tower, hydraulic and electric extrication tools, an 6,000psi cascade system, a 12,000lb
winch in the bumper and additional smaller equipment for water, ice and trench rescue.
