Ambulance, Grass, Squad, Rehab, Boat

St. Joseph Township is located on the north-central side of Fort Wayne. It is completely surrounded by the city and FWFD stations inside of I-469 in central Allen County. Established in 1954, this combination department now provides Fire, Tactical Rescue, Hazmat and ALS protection to the 23,000 residents and 10 square miles of St. Joseph Township.

This former Blue Bird school bus was converted for use as an air-conditioned rehab unit for SJTFD. This apparatus has
responded througout Northeastern Indiana to assist with fire scene, dive rescue and recovery rehab.
 
Boat 70
Boat 70 - Mercury Zodiac Rescue Boat
Boat 70 can be quickly deployed to aid top-water rescue efforts in retention ponds and along the river.
