Southwest Fire Department

Established in 1942, this all-volunteer department includes 30 members who respond to 160 runs each year. SVFD provides Fire, Rescue and medical first-responder protection to over 40 square miles including Ohio and Jackson Townships in southwestern Bartholomew County.

Station 1

Station 1 - Ogilville (Ohio Township)
Station 1 is currently home to all five apparatus as well as a Community Center. A second station is being built in nearby
Waymansville (Jackson Township).
