in southern Clark County. Founded in 1871, Jeffersonville is a career department
who respond from 4 stations. JFD provides Fire, Heavy Rescue, non-transport EMS and Hazmat protection to approximately 30,000 residents and 30 square miles. |

| Station 2 - East 10th Street - JFD Headquarters This beautiful and well-planned station was opened in March 2008. It serves as JFD Headquarters with administration offices and meeting rooms to the right and crew quarters to the left of the four drive-through apparatus bays. This huge station is significantly larger than their former station and is poised to serve the department for decades to come. |

| Station 4 - East 10th Street - Far Eastside Station 4 was completed in 2008. While not yet fully manned, it will serve as home to Engine 4 (former Engine 1), a reserve engine and JFD's brush truck. This station protects the fast-growing east side of the city.. |
