Frankfort is located in 45 miles northwest of Indianapolis in central Clinton County along IN-40. This full-time, career department provides Fire, Rescue and ALS protection to nearly 100 square miles and 20,000 residents in the City of Frankfort and Center Township.

This single-engine house is located just a mile northeast of Headquarters, but north of the railroad tracks that split the town.

Engine 3 is the last remaining of the older Pierce Arrow rigs. It responds from a single-engine house at 1402 West Barner Street.
It has a twin (E-4) that is stored across the street from Station 1 and serves as a reserve pumper.
