Odon & Madison Township The Town of Odon is located 105 miles southwest of Indianapolis along IN-58 in northern Daviess County. The Odon VFD was established more than 100 years ago and currently has 18 members. Formed in 1950, the Madison Township Fire Department has always shared the same station, but has 22 members of it's own. The two departments in this largely Amish community can respond both together and separately depending on the incident and response area. Together they provide Fire, Rescue and first-responder EMS protection to the Town of Odon, Madison Township and portions of Van Buren Township. |
