Lawrenceburg Fire Deparment Lawrenceburg is located 25 miles west of Cincinnati along I-275 in the far southeastern tip of Dearborn County. LFD is a combination department with four full-time employees supplemented by paid-on-call personnel. LFD was originally founded in 1882 with 3 companies located in stations referred to "Miami," "Edenburg" and "Hilltop." In July 2004, a new Heaquarters station was dedicated with Companies 1 & 2 combining their apparatus and personnel. Lawrenceburg now provides Fire and Rescue protection to approximately 5,000 residents and 5 square miles. |

Old Lawrenceburg Station 1 - Short Street
This historic building served as the former home of Station 1 for many years.
In July 2004, a new 6-bay station was
completed at
300 West Tate Street and the Miami and Edenburg Companies 1 & 2 were combined
under one roof.

Engine Company 411 - 1982 Ford/E-One Custom Pumper - 1000gpm/700gal
Engine 411 is the second due for Fire & Rescue calls in the downtown area.

Equipment Truck 412 - 1994 Ford/Reading - 200gpm/300gal
Truck 412 formerly served as a grass rig, but now includes extra equipment for
extrications, tactical rescues and fire scenes.

Rescue 1 - 2003 E-One Cyclone II Rescue Pumper 2000gpm/1000gal/35gal foam - Serial #125864
Rescue 1 serves as the department's Heavy Rescue and is first out for extrications and rescue calls from LFD's central station.

Ladder 425 - 2002 E-One Cyclone II 75' Quint - 2000gpm/500gal - Serial # #124226
Engine 436 - 1995 E-One Cyclone II Custom Pumper - 1250gpm/1000gal
Engine 436 is first due to all fires from Company 3's "Hilltop" Station 3 on
the northwest side along US-48.
Squad 437 - 1988 Ford/Reading Light Rescue
Company 3 consists of Engine 436, Ladder 435, Rescue 420 and Squad 437.
