Volunteer Fire Department


The Town of Albany is located 54 miles south of Fort Wayne along IN-67 and IN-28 in northeast Delaware County. Organized in 1899 as the Albany VFD, this all-volunteer department now includes 22 members and 6 cadets who respond to approximately 130 runs each year. ADTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to approximately 2,800 residents in the Town of Albany as well as portion of Niles, Richland and Green Townships.

Albany Fire Station - State Road 67 & N. Water Street
Located near the county border, this station protects 1/4 of Niles Twp in Delaware County, 1/4 of Richland Twp in Jay County and 1/4 of Green Twp in Randolph County.
