Township Center Township's Fire District is a small donut-shaped band around the City of Muncie in Delaware County. In 2000 the township trustees opted to create it's own fire department instead of continuing its service contract with MuniceCenter Township Emergency Services operates from two stations that protect residential, rural, commercial, and industrial areas. CTES includes a combination of paid and volunteer status protecting ten square miles of area 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. |

| Rescue Engine 12 - 2004 Sutphen Shield Series Pumper - 1500gpm/1000gal Engine 12 and it's twin Engine 13 were the first brand new engines purchased by the department. Engine 12 is first due for fires, rescue and all BLS/ALS calls. Engine12 carries Phoenix rescue tools, Cairns Pioneer SCBA, along with a full complement of EMS equipment and a defibrillator. |

| Ladder 12 - 1981 Sutphen 95' Mid-mount platform - 1500gpm/300gal Ladder 12 is the primary ladder company for Center Township. This truck had an off-chassis complete refurb in 2003 and is basically new from the cab back. Ladder 12 originally serves as St. Louis, Missouri's Ladder Company 6 prior to it's purchase by Center Township. |
