The City of Elkhart is located 20 miles east of South Bend along the I-80 toll road in northern Elkhart County. Elkhart's 7 stations provide Fire, Tactical Rescue and ALS protection to 51,800 residents.

Elkhart Fire Department Station 5 - Simpson Avenue & Middlebury Street
Station 5 protects the near southside of Elkhart and is home to Engine 5 and Brush 16.

Elkhart Fire Department Station 6 - Osolo Road & Bristol Street
Opened in 1968, Station 6 is a single-engine house that protects the near northeastside of Elkhart.

Station 7 - County Road 6 at County Road 7 - Airport/Northwest
Station 7 has it's own first due area on the northwest side and also protects the Elkhart Municipal Airport. It is home to Engine 7,
Crash Fire Rescue 22 and Hazmat truck and trailer.

Station 7 is located on the northwest side of Elkhart at the Airport. It is home to Engine 7 and Crash 7

On the rare occasion that this rig is needed, CFR-22 and it's 250gpm turret are available for a quick-attack at the airport.

Former Engine 7 - 1981 Mack CF/1994 RPI Quint - 1250gpm/350gal with 50' Telesquirt
This great Mack previously served as Engine 7 and then as a reserve out of Station 2. It was reassigned as Engine 10 in 2006.
