Fire Department - Station 2

Edwardsville is located 14 miles northwest of Louisville along I-64 and IN-62 in west-central Floyd County. Established in 1954, this all-volunteer department includes 25 members that repond from two stations. GTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and BLS protection to 40 square miles within Georgetown Township.

This pump was added to this rig in 2004 when the tank was remounted onto the new chassis. This rig was previously a
twin to Tanker 26 at Station 1.

This apparatus was leased from Harrods Creek, KY in 2007 when GTFD converted to a combination department
and needed a second pumper for this station.
