Center Township Fire/Rescue

Center Township is located just east of Marion and north of Gas City in central Grant County. Established in 1957, this all-volunteer department consists of 26 Firefighters, and 15 EMTs that are EMS only. CTFD provides Fire, Rescue and BLS protection to 32 square miles and 25,000 residents.

Station 10 is located across from the Marion VA Medical Center along East 38th Street (200 south)

Engine 11 is the first-due engine for mutual aid calls. It is second-due for structure fires and extrication runs.

Rescue 12 carries Phoenix extrication devices, rope, and water rescue tools. This is first out on structure fires and calls
when extrication/rescue is needed. It seats 6.

Squad 13 carries 3 personnel and is utilized for ambulance assists and grass/trash fires.

Engine 11 is the first engine on mutual aid runs, and second out for structure fires. It was refurbished in 2003 and now, seats
5 firefighters and also carries a set of Phoenix extrication tools.
