Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Sweetser is located west of Marion along IN-18 in northwestern Grant County. First organized in 1953, this all-volunteer department includes 21 members who respond tp 325 runs each year. PTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to 96 square miles including the Town of Sweetser, Pleasant Township and portions of Richland and Franklin Townships.
