Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Van Buren is located 40 miles southwest of Fort Wayne along IN-5 and I-69 in the northeast corner of Grant County. First organized in 1892, this all-volunteer department includes 19 members who respond to 80 runs each year. VBVFD provides Fire protection to approximately 1,300 resident in the Town of Van Buren and Van Buren Township.
