The City of Marion is located 40 miles southwest of Fort Wayne along IN-5 and I-69 in the northeast corner of Grant County. First organized in 1960, this all-volunteer department includes 19 members who respond to 80 runs each year. WTVFD provides Fire and BLS protection to approximately the residents of Washington Township outside of the Marion city limits.
Washington Township Fire Station - E. Salem Pike and N. Bethlehem Road Built in 2001, this firehouse is home to all five fire apparatus and two County Ambulances.
Squad 31 - 1992 Chevy Blazer - Medical Quick-Response Vehicle This rig previously served as a Chief's vehicle nearby Marion.
Engine 32 - 1987 Ford F8000/S&S - 750gpm/1800gal E-32 served as the department's only Engine Company until 2002. It remains their first-due for all fire calls.
Engine 34 - 1973 Dodge/1974 Pierce Mini-Pumper (#8292-C) - 300gpm/300gal
E-34 responds as brush truck and can provide scene lighting during night incidents.
Engine 37 - 1981 ALF Century Pumper - 1500gpm/1000gal
This cab of this truck was enclosed and four doors added in 1991. This apparatus previously served Middletown, PA until it was purchased by Washington Township in 2002.

Medic 1 - 2006 Ford E-450/2007 Braun This EMS unit is staffed during the day shift. At night volunteers will respond as needed.
