Atlanta Volunteer Fire Department

Atlanta is located 32 miles north of Indianapolis in the far northcentral section of Hamilton County. The area is a rural district includes the small town of Atlanta north to the Tipton County line.

Atlanta's single fire station is home to five apparatus.

Engine 51 is the department's primary pumper and is first due for all fire calls.

Rescue 51 responds to all rescue calls and auto extrications. It formerly served Cicero Township Fire Department near Tipton.

Grass 51 protects Atlanta from brush fires and also serves as the primary EMS Response vehicle.
Grass 51 also previously served at Cicero Township.
 
Cart 51
Cart 51 - is used to provide quick medical care at public function such as parades and fairs.
