Former Rescue 42 - 2000 KME Excel walk-around Heavy Rescue
Rescue 42 is shown here as it assisted Fishers Fire Department in 2004 when their Heavy Rescue was gone for 8 months for
refurbishing. In the early 2000's Carmel ran East and West Rescue Companies for the City and Clay Township. However,
with light extrication equipment located on each of it's Engines, two Rescues were no longer necessary. This rig was originally
stationed at 42, but was renumbered and moved to reserve status as Rescue 40 in 2004.
