The Fishers Community Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1955. Fishers is now a career department with 99 full-time personnel operating from 5 stations. Fishers Fire Department provides Fire, Tactical Rescue, Haz-Mat and AlS protection to nearly 60,000 residents in Fishers and Delaware and Fall Creek Townships.
