The City of Noblesville is located at the crossroads of IN-37 and IN-32 in central Hamilton County. The Noblesville Fire Department includes more than 130 career firefighters who respond from 7 fire stations. NFD provides Fire, Tactical Rescue, ALS and Hazmat protection to 41,000 residents and 55 square miles including the City and Township of Noblesville.

This apparatus responds to all Hazardous Materials incidents throughout Hamilton County except for the city of Carmel.

Until 2008, Medic 71 provided a rapid ALS response from Station 71 instead of responding with the Engine or Rescue.
However, in 2008, NFD reassigned E-71 as an ALS Engine since no Ambulance is located at Station 71.
