Westfield/Washington The Westfield Fire Department has a rich heritage of nearly 100 years of service to the community. The Department was incorporated in 1954 and utilized citizen volunteers to answer emergency fire calls until 1978 when the first career firefighter was hired. WFD provides professional fire, medical and rescue services to the Town of Westfield and Washington Township. Currently the Department consists of 39 career firefighters and 6 civilian paramedics. Volunteer FF/EMT's are still utilized and are a valuable asset to our department and community. |

| Ladder 81 - 1999 Pierce Dash 75' Rear-mount ladder - 1500gpm/500gal Ladder 81 serves as Westfield's Aerial device and responds from Station 81 at 17535 Dartown Road. Serving as Westfield Fire Headquarters, this firehouse shares the Town's Municpal Building along with the Police department and other government offices. |

| Former Tactical 81/Rescue 81 - International 4900/E-One walk-around Heavy
Rescue With the arrival of Rescue Engines 81 & 82 in 2005, the extrication equipment was moved onto the Engines and this rig was reassigned from Rescue to TSU duties. Tactical 81 was sold in 2007 to Whiteland VFD south of Indianapolis. |

- 1250gpm/750gal This engine previously served as Engine 82 before being replaced with a new Rescue Engine in 2005. It now serves as a primary reserve apparatus for WFD. |
