Greenfield Fire Department
Station 22

The City of Greenfield is located 18 miles east of Indianapolis along US-40 and IN-9 in central Hancock County. Greenfield is a combination department with 2/3 full-time personnel and 1/3 volunteers responding from two stations. GFD provides ALS, Fire, Rescue and Hazmat protection to more than 16,000 residents over 56 square miles.

Station 22 - 210 West New Road - Northside
Station 22 was built in 1991 to serve the growing northern section of Greenfield including portions of I-70 and the busy commercial
corridor along IN-9. The land for the station was donated by the Keihin IPT automotive parts plant just west of the station.

This apparatus previously served as a Tanker for the department and was sold to nearby Shirley VFD in 2005. It has since
been refurbished and continues in active service.
