The Town of Charlottesville is located 33 miles east of Indianapolis along US-40 and the Hancock/Henry County line. Established in 1957, this all-volunteer department includes 20 members who respond from a single station. CVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to nearly 3,000 residents and 66 square miles including the Town of Charlottesville and Jackson and Blue River Townships.
