McCordsville McCordsville is located 19 miles East of Indianapolis along US-67 in western Hancock County. Established in 1952, this all-volunteer department includes 25 members who respond from a single station. McCordsville VFD provides Fire, Rescue and BLS non-transport protection to the residents of Vernon Township and Town of McCordsville. The department also has numerous mutual aid agreements with surrounding departments. |

| Rescue 89 - 2008 Seagrave Commander walk-around Heavy Rescue This sharp rig runs first due to all extrication and rescue calls and second-due to fire calls. This apparatus carries a variety of ground ladders in addition to it's rescue tools. Without a frontline aerial device, Rescue 89 serves as both a Truck and Rescue Company on fire scenes. |
