Engine 101 is the first-due apparatus for all fire, extrication and most rescue calls at Lizton. Engine 101 started it's fire service in
Valhalla, NY. On 9/11 this pumper responded to the Twin Towers collapse and continued to serve there for five days in relief
of FDNY crews. In 2005, this truck was purchased by Lizton and became their frontline engine.

Lizton converted Engine 101's long 10-man cab to a capacity of 8 by adding two medical compartments. This enlarged cab style makes this rig easily identifiable as an East Coast/New England volunteer truck where this style is commonplace.

Tanker 101 is really a story of two apparatus becoming one. Tanker 101 was purchased new in 1986 as a GMC/FMC pumper
and served as Lizton E-101. However, after nearly two decades in service, it's original FMC body was in poor shape while the chassis was still running strong. The department also had a 1970 Dodge Pumper that ran with an out-of-date gasoline engine.
In 2006, RPI remounted the Dodge body and pumps onto the GMC chassis. They then added additional tank compartments
above the existing one to expand it's capability to it's current 1500 gallons. The resulting apparatus made the most of Lizton's
resources and created a very usable and reliable pumper/tanker for the department.

TSU 101 originally served as Rescue 101 until the new Pierce Rescue Pumper arrived. With the extrication equipment now
residing on the pumper, this truck was free other items. TSU-101 respons with Air bottles, generators, scene lighting, Hazmat
spill suits, chemical absorbant and various extra firefighting saws and tools.
