City of Madison The City of Madison can be found at the crossroads of US-421 and US-56 along the Ohio River in Jefferson County. Madison includes a unique setup of 6 independently contracted volunteer fire companies. For decades, each fire station and company has had it's own name and specifc color apparatus. Under the command of one Chief, these companies serve as one to provide Fire & Rescue protection to more than 12,500 residents in this historic City. |

| Rescue Engine 6 - 1992 Seagrave/1996 Ferrara/2008 Summit Pumper - 1250gpm/500gal The rescue body of Clifty 6's engine was built in 1996 by Ferrara for Bellevue, Kentucky, near Cincinnati. However, the new truck proved too big for Bellevue's tight city streets. In 2001, Summit removed that body from its HME chassis, shortened the chassis, and placed a new, smaller city-pumper body on the chassis for Bellevue. Summit often keeps older bodies taken from refurbs. In 2008, Summit lengthened Clifty’s Seagrave chassis, installed that 1996 Ferrara body, and refurbished the apparatus as a whole. So, being completely technical, this rig is a 1992 Seagrave/1996 Ferrara/2008 Summit! |

| Quint 6 - 1994 Seagrave Quint 100'
Rear-mount Aerial Ladder (#85008) - 1250gpm/250gal This apparatus was placed into service at the Clifty 6's station in 2008. It now runs as Quint 6 from that station, making it the first ladder truck "On the Hill" in Madison's history. Due to the $20,000+ cost of repainting, this truck is not scheduled to be repainted to match the Clifty Six's blue at this time. |
