North Vernon is located 76 miles South-Southeast of Indianapolis at the crossroads of US-50, IN-7 and IN-3 in Jennings County. North Vernon VFD protects the small town of 6,500 residents and approximately 10 square miles of Center Township. NVVFD's rigs may be the most unique assortment of apparatus in the state!

This huge truck had a previous life as a fuel truck for the United States Air Force.
