Fire Department - Station 2

Bargersville is located 15 miles south of Indianapolis in western Johnson County along IN-144. Established in 1955, this combination department includes 78 members who provide Fire, Rescue and ALS reponse from two stations. BCFD protect a rapidly growing suburban and rural community of more than 25,000 residents over 64 square miles including portions of Union, Franklin and White River Townships. ALS/BLS transport is provided by Rural/Metro.

Station 2 -
Station 2 protects the northside of Bargersville's response area. Located in a residential and rural area, the 2's is home to
Engine, Tanker and Squad 202 and Reserve Engine 204.

Engine 202 is the first-due apparatus for all incidents from Station 2. While Rescue 201 handles most medical calls from Station 1,
Engine 202 functions more as a Rescue-Pumper unlike it's twin Engine 201.

Engine 204 - 1996 Spartan/Summit Pumper - 1500gpm/1000gal
E-204 serves as the department's reserve pumper. It previously served as Engine 201 before the arrival of the twin
Spartan/Saulsbury's in 2006.
TANKER202
Tanker 202 (former 201) - 1996 Ford F-700/Darley - 1000gpm/1500gal
This rig previously served as Tanker 201 until replaced in 2008 with the larger KME tanker.
