"Pride of the Southside"

The City of Greenwood is located 15 miles south of Indianapolis in northern Johnson County. Greenwood is a combination department consisting of thirty full-time employees and eighty paid on call standby volunteers. GFD provides Fire, Rescue and Hazmat protection to 25 square miles and approximately 44,000 residents.

Completed in 1987, this station is home to Engine 93, Rural/Metro Ambulance 93 and occasionally a reserve engine.

Engine 93 is a twin to Engine 92 and runs with a 5-man crew from the city's southwest side.
