New Whiteland is located 20 miles due south
of Indianapolis along US-31 in Johnson County. Established in 1953, this combination department includes 25 members who respond
to a very small residential area and a short section of US-31 between
Whiteland and Franklin.

Engine 11 - 2008 International/Crimson Pumper - 1250gpm/750gal
The new Engine 12 is first-due for all incidents at New Whiteland. It was the first new engine for the department in 19 years!
Engine 12 (formerly E-11) - 1989 Ford C/Pierce Pumper - 1000gpm/500gal Engine 12 is second-due for all fire and mutual aid calls at NWFD. It was replaced as the primary engine with the arrival of the Crimson above in March of 2008.

Rescue 11 - 1996 Ford Super-Duty/Marque
Light Rescue Rescue 11 carries EMS, extrication and various firefighting equipment. It is first due for medical calls and vehicle accidents.

After serving the department for 29 years, Engine 12 was sold in 2008.

This staff car is used for various purposes and transportation for the department.
