Edwardsport The Town of Edwardsport is located 100 miles west-southwest of Indianapolis along IN-67 and the White River in northeast Knox County. EVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First Responder protection to approximately 500 residents in the Town of Edwardsport and the surrounding rural township. EMS Service is provided locally by Knox County EMS. |

| Rescue 16 - 1997 Chevy K3500/Sherer/1994 Astoria - Light Rescue In 1994, this rig started out with a 1994 Chevy chassis mated to the open 1994 Astoria body w/ the skid unit in it. It ran at that time as a rescue/brush truck. In 1997 they bought a new chassis, put a top on the old body and made it strictly a rescue. The department then had a new body made for the 1994 chassis and skid and made it a brush as shown below. |
