The oldest city in Indiana, Vincennes is located 122 miles west southwest of Indianapolis along the Illinois State border in Knox County. It lies nearly midway between Terre Haute and Evansville
at the crossroads of US-50 and US-41. Vincenes includes separate
city and township fire departments that combine to protect 30 square miles and nearly 25,000 residents including the 5,100+ students at Vincennes University.

Station 3
Station 3 - St. Clair Street at Highland Street - Vincennes University Campus
Station 3 is located on the east side of the City near the river. This firehouse was built in 1987 by VU in a land swap deal for
the land old 3's sat on at 2nd & Rosedale. With the continued university expansion, it's possible that this station could move
again in the future.

This sharp truck is equipped with a CAFS system, 8kw generator and a 1500gpm tip nozzle. The stick can be controlled from
the turntable or pump panel, plus it can be controlled at the tip if someone is also present at the turntable controls.

This apparatus now serves as the city's primary reserve company after it was replaced by the Quint above in 2007.
