Volunteer Fire Department

The town of Bruceville is located 120 miles southwest of Indianapolis along IN-67 in eastern Knox County. WTVFD is comprised of 18 members who provides Fire, Rescue and Water Rescue protection to 49 square miles. The response area includes Washington Township and the Town of Bruceville. ALS and BLS Transport services are provided county-wide by Knox County EMS.

Completed in 1994, this firehouse is home to all three apparatus and WTVFD's water rescue craft and trailer.

E-12 is first-out on all fire calls. It also carries equipment for medical responses and vehicle extrication.

This rig is heavy rescue certified and responds first-due on all medical call and accidents.

Trailer 12 can be pulled to various incidents by Brush 12. This trailer carries Water Rescue 12. It also carries additional
equipment for top-water rescues, high-angle rescue and mass casualty incidents.
