Fire Department

The Town of Silver Lake is located 45 miles SSE of South Bend along IN-15 in south-central Kosciusko County. Established in 1900, SLVFD includes 21 volunteer members who provide Fire and Rescue protection to 36 square miles including the Town of Silver Lake and Lake Township.

This rig previously served as an ambulance in nearby Leesburg before Multi-Township EMS took over the service there.

This apparatus was donated to the department by the friends and family of Ray "Razor" Clark who served on the department
for 30 years.
 
Old Station
Silver Lake's former station is located Downtown on IN-15 and Wells Street. Their new shared station is located on
IN-14 just east of town, but is not yet pictured
