Winona Lake
Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Winona Lake is located immediately south of Warsaw along Kings Highway in central Kosciusko County. Winona Lake's volunteer members provide Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to 3.2 square miles and 4,000 residents. WLFD also protects Grace College & Theological Seminary including approximately 1300 students.

This apparatus began it's career in Bremen, IN as a 3-section, 75ft aerial. However, when the middle section cracked, it was removed and condensed to a a 55ft length as shown here.

Rescue 158 - 2006 John Deere Gator/Baja Modular Concepts with MedBed
This vehicle was donated by US Smokeless Tobacco (one of many provided to fire departments). It is used for medical response and rescues along the miles of hiking & riding trails surrounding the lake.
