The small community of Michiana Shores is located 60 miles east of Chicago along US-12 and Lake Michigan in northeast LaPorte County. The 18 members of this all-volunteer department provide Fire, Rescue and Medical First Responder protection to 1,156 residents in the communities of Michiana Shores, Indiana & Michiana, Michigan.
