Due to it's large residential district full of older wood homes, Engine 6 is typically the busiest Engine at AFD for structure fires.
Like most of the engine companies at AFD, E-6 also carries a combi-tool for quick-response to auto accidents.

Rescue 2 used to respond from Station 6 to incidents on the southside of town. However, it was disbanded in 2004 as several
of the Engine companies began carrying more rescue and extrication equipment. This particular apparatus was sold to the nearby
Town of Daleville.

Special thanks to the personnel at Station 6 for their help in arranging the apparatus for these pictures.
