Volunteer Fire Department

The village of Leisure is located 45 miles north of Indianapolis along IN-13 in the northwest corner of Madison County. Established in 1964, this all-volunteer department includes 18 members who respond from a single station. DCVFD provides Fire protection to 500 residents and 24 square miles in this rural Township immediately north of Elwood.
