Pipe Creek is located 40 miles Northeast of Indianapolis along IN-37 and IN-28 in Northwestern Madison County.  Pipecreek VFD was established in 1960 and respond from a single station with their 6 apparatus. This all-volunteer department provides fire and rescue protection to 4,000 plus residents of Pipecreek Township that surrounds the east side of Elwood.
