1996 Smeal/Spartan 75' Rear-mount Ladder - 1250gpm/1000gal booster
Big Jim was named for a community member that was very active with the department and it's planning. He passed away
from cancer shortly after the arrival of this truck. To our knowledge this was the only ladder truck in the state that carries
a 1,000 gallons of water along with a 75' ladder. It is still located a IIAFD Station 1.
