of Lawrence Located in northeastern Marion County just outside I-465, the City of Lawrence Fire Department includes four stations. LFD provides ALS, Fire, Rescue and Water Rescue protection to this city of 41,500 residents in the Greater Indianapolis Area. |

| City of Lawrence Fire Departmen Station 39 - 4751 North Richardt Avenue Completed in 2004 in the middle of a residential area, this firehouse was originally designated Station 2. In May 2009 all of Lawrence's Fire stations and apparatus were reassigned numbers that fit along with the City of Indianapolis. This was intended to avoid confusion on mutual aid and shared calls with IFD unit. This firehouse protects the west side of Lawrence and is home to Engine 39 and a reserve Ambulance. |
