Station 72

Decatur Township is located in southwest Marion County. DTFD provides Fire, Rescue and EMS Services to approximately 30,000 residents in a thirty-three square mile area. The department is staffed with 64 paid professional firefighters and paramedics.

This station is tucked away just off Mooresville Road and protects the far southwest corner of Marion County.
The 72's will move to a brand new firehouse south of this location in September 2009.

E-72 and it's twin E-74 follow the desgin specs of the Los Angeles County FD. These custom cabs are slightly wider to
provide more room for the crews. The black over red with a bold yellow striping mixes the LACOFD design with Decatur
Township's existing logos and color scheme.

Decatur Township High School Hawks logo along the side - a great show of local pride.
