| Indianapolis Fire Department Station 27 - 2918 East 10th Street - Near Eastside Curent station 27 opened on March 3, 1972. Engine 27 has had a long tradition of protecting Indy's eastside dating back to 1907. Station 27 also founded IFD's Emerald Society for Irish Firefighters. |

93' Midmount Ladder Ladder 27 has a near twin with a platform at Station 15. Both stations continue to run mid-mount ladder trucks to avoid the low railroad bridges located in their districts. |
