Opened in October 4, 1922, this building originally served as the Broadripple Town Hall and Fire Station.

Due to a minimal amount of fire runs and the station's proximity to Stations 16, 21 and 31, Engine 32 was disbanded
in December 2005 as part of an IFD reorganization. Rescue Squad 29 was reassigned as Squad 32 and responds as
an ALS unit with one FF/Paramedic and one FF/EMT

Out of an obvious height necessity, Engine 32 was the first IFD apparatus to use
an LED light bar that became the standard in 2005.
