Since IFD does not run Heavy Rescues, all non-tactical rescues and extrications at IFD are handled by an Extrication Task Forces. These consist of an Engine and one Ladder Company with most equipment located on the Ladder Trucks.

SVCCT
St. Vincent Critical Care Transport Ambulance - 2000 Ford E-350/2001 MedTec
This rig previously served Washington Twp FD. It's sole purpose is to respond to the St. Vincent Hospital helipad (less than a mile
away) to transport patients to the Emergency Department. Once a helo is on route to the hospital, personnel are dispatched with
this unit for the very short transfer down the street.

Special thanks to the crew from "B" shift for their help in arranging these pictures and providing Station 4 history.
